SOCKET SIMULATOR Test chat message delivery end-to-end

⚡ Required message delivery flow — every step must happen

Connect with JWT
→Server verifies JWT
→Joins user_N room
→emit join_chat (YOU must do this)
→Joins chat_N room
→Laravel POST → Redis PUBLISH
→Node → io.to(chat_N).emit
→❌ Skip join_chat = silent drop
👤 Client (Flutter side)
Uses Chat ID above
--:--:-- [INFO] Paste client JWT and click Connect, then join_chat
🛠 Provider (Dashboard side)
Uses Chat ID above
--:--:-- [INFO] Paste provider JWT and click Connect, then join_chat

⚠️ Most common causes — sockets connect but messages never arrive

① join_chat never emitted
Connection succeeds and the server joins the socket to user_N. But chat_message is broadcast to chat_N. If the client/provider never emits join_chat {chat_id} that socket is not in the chat room and every message is silently dropped.

✅ Emit join_chat immediately after connect fires.
② Redis publish/subscribe channel mismatch
Laravel publishes to nokhba-chat using predis on 127.0.0.1:6379. Node subscribes to the same channel via npm redis. If the server's production.js Redis config points to a different host, port, password, or DB index than Laravel's .env they talk to separate Redis instances and messages never cross.

✅ Make sure both use identical host + port + password + DB number.
③ Laravel predis uses a different DB index
Node's createClient() defaults to DB 0. Laravel's config/database.php may route the default Redis connection to DB 1+ for cache separation. Check REDIS_DB in your .env.

Also: REDIS_PASSWORD=null in .env is a literal string "null" — predis treats it as a real password. Change it to an empty value (REDIS_PASSWORD=) if Redis has no auth.
